Material will loose some shine depending on how you wash. It’s not a defect, it is simply how they manufacture this type of fabric.

Recommend hand wash and hang dry if you want to keep them the shiniest.

Machine wash and hang dry for those who do not hand wash is also fine.

I tested a piece in the dryer to see what would happen. It lost some shine but they still look super cool, just more muted and grunge like.

** Faux Leather is not meant to be worn on rough carpet or surfaces where your child is playing/crawling. Excessive rubbing will damage the material.
